NTINDA VOCATIONAL TRAINING INSTITUTE

Welcome to Ntinda Vocational Training Institute (NTVTI), a cutting-edge public institution under the Ministry of Education and Sports, established through a collaboration between the Governments of South Korea and Uganda. Our institute is designed for job seekers, the unemployed, the youth, and incumbent workers who are passionate about gaining practical skills that will enable them to excel in their respective careers.

Our journey began in 2014 with a ground-breaking ceremony followed by a contract with UNOPS for construction. In December 2015, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding with KOICA_UNOPS for construction, and in November 2016, we held a construction commencement meeting. June 2017 saw the dispatch of Korean experts to MoES to develop guidelines on management, while September saw us conduct a training program in Korea regarding management and instructor education. In March 2018, we completed the construction of Ntinda VTI and held a keys handover ceremony to MoES with UNOPS. That same year, we received approval of Staff structure for Ntinda VTI from the government.
